Collective Hope Farm were thrilled to receive a donation of $20,000 from Community Bank Mundaring.
Presented to Steve Robinson, Executive Manager Social Enterprises at an Awards night at the Mundaring Sports Club, by Anthea Southam, Executive Officer of Mundaring Community Bank.
At the Awards night, Community Bank Mundaring distributed just under $300,000 in grants to community groups, donated from the profits generated by the local bank service.
The money will be utilised to install a disabled accessible toilet at the farm to enable participation of people living with disabilities at the Farm.
“Our vision to provide opportunities for skills development and therapy for people living with disabilities has been held up due to the need for disabled accessible toilets at the farm. Removing this barrier means we can start programs that will help to make the farm sustainable,” says Steve Robinson.
The Collective Hope Farm is open to the public, who are invited to purchase fresh produce direct from the farm at 171 Mundaring Weir Road, Mundaring.
